Today a teenager walked toward me with an urgent, “Excuse me, Miss?”
I stopped. He pointed.
“Did you see? There’s snow on the mountain.”
I looked. There was. “It’s beautiful,” I said.
He nodded. “It is. I just had to tell somebody.”
Then he walked away.
I’m glad I was that somebody.
