Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)

My representative, folks. He's just sooooo busy, too busy to listen to us...

(For context, which is always important, this is in response to him hosting a "Mondays with Mark" conversation session 2 hours away.)

🚨 BREAKING NEWS

It’s official. Donald Trump has just announced he has BANNED the Associated Press from the Oval Office and Air Force One for refusing to recognize the Gulf of America.”

This a direct assault on the Constitution and the First Amendment.

If you support any of this, you’re honestly just a terrible person. People’s lives are being upended and destroyed. For every 1% increase in unemployment, 40,000 people die—yet some are celebrating.

Missourians, the state has their own version of DOGE and here's a form to report government inefficiencies. Whatever you do, don't spam it.

I called my congresspeople and left messages for Hawley and Schmitt. I did speak to aids at Onder and Alford's offices and both aids I spoke to said that they haven't heard any feedback about Musk's takeover at OPM. 🙄

What if there were a coup, the US government fell to a drug-addled oligarch who seized control of our money, secrets, and levers of power, and Corporate media did not report on it?

Hope is never futile - it is one of the greatest forms of resistance we have.

This is such a shitty take. We always have had progressives fighting for the rights of EVERYONE in red states like Missouri. Let's think about who the real enemies are. Hint: it's not red states vs blue states. 🙄
I still haven’t heard a convincing argument against all blue states seceding.

Blue states have fought white supremacists and homophobic assholes, while red states are scared of people peeing.

We’ll be fine.

Joy is resistance. Right now, I'm finding joy by singing (solo and in a choir). How are you finding joy?

Seriously though, I need some recommendations.

We are living through Republicanism boiled down to its essence: Everyone should be deprived of everything, because otherwise, somebody I don't like might get something I don't want them to have. We call it an ideology, but it's really a personality: Greedy, withholding, suspicious, angry, cruel.

Once you realize that Trump isn’t nominating cabinet members to RUN agencies but DESTROY them, it makes more sense.
