In Super Mario World, green berries increase the timer. By strategically eating them to make the timer pass 100 multiple times, the music can be sped up repeatedly. It turns out that the music engine cannot handle more than 20 speed-ups, and slows down to a crawl instead.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe includes a calendar that goes all the way to the year 3000. Ironically, this reaches much further than typical modern computer and smartphone calendars. As such, even now Super Mario Bros. Deluxe remains a good option to keep track of far future dates.

Black Friday certainly is interesting this year. I've been checking around and several things I got earlier in the month, even from small retailers, are currently "discounted" to a higher price than what I paid for them 3 weeks ago.
