this guy wore a mask and didn't keep his cell phone on him when he fled and as a result a police department that is itself one of the largest armed forces and intelligence agencies on planet earth is completely flummoxed
One of the NYPD brass said “this isn’t blue bloods” when explaining they can’t just immediately find the guy and I like that years of copaganda have set standards cops can’t meet and might be contributing to people’s correct perception that cops don’t effectively stop crime or find killers.

A few of Steve Erickson's (Zeroville) books are $3 or less for kindle ... Zeroville, Days Between Stations, and Tours of the Black Clock, and probably not for long. Zeroville and Tours of the Black Clock are AMAZING. His fiction is hard to pin down, which makes reading it all the more exciting.

You can't fight over eating with movement/exercise. If you eat 500 calories too much a day (which is extremely easy) you will need to run 8km extra each day to burn that. That is so not sustainable.
My rule is always, losing weight == eating less.
Exercise is for other healthy benifits.
