Labour’s Northern Powerhouse Rail announcement: 10 out of 10 for sheer chutzpah
The minister began by saying that she “get(s) why people there are sick to the back teeth of Westminster politicians promising the earth and delivering absolutely nothing.”

Yesterday I posted my last ever Tweet and called on the Government to do the same.

Read more below on why I think it’s time to leave the cesspit formerly known as Twitter.

Grok is just one of many reasons why Westminster should finally get off the website.

"Circumspect" is a very polite way of describing Starmer's stance on Trump casually deciding he can break international law anytime he wants. Cowardly appeasement. Utter folly. Crawling. Shaming Britain. Desperately short term thinking.
Anyone got better descriptions?

Punching left reminds people why they have deserted Labour.
I’ve interviewed Keir Starmer for @theobserveruk.bsky.social. He is defiant about his leadership and says he’ll prove his critics wrong. He says Angela Rayner will be back in Cabinet, the Greens are “nuts” and young people have been “collateral damage” of past policy observer.co.uk/news/nationa...

Large-scale new housing developments MUST be connected to public transport from Day 1.

A new article by our Head of External Affairs:
Embedding public transport in new developments: time to adopt a new approach? — Bus Centre of Excellence
With five major transport bills and two related ones progressing through Parliament, transport has, unusually, become the busiest area of legislative activity this session. That should be welcomed.…

Tommy Robinson openly celebrating Labour's new asylum seekers policy should tell everyone exactly how far right Labour are now.

Labour, Reform and Tories are all the same. Right wing parties only interested in making money for their donors.

Do not vote Labour.

They market their cars as weapons and we allow them on the same roads as children cycling to school.

And I still get weird middle-aged men in my notifications obfuscating for and defending this.

This is not a serious society.

When Green party critics call our thoroughly researched policies that are often worked through for years "simplistic" "undeliverable" etc, they are never specific about which policies or why.

That's because it would reveal that what they really mean is "our donors don't like them"

One of the unexpected things I've learned from my advocacy for trans people is how malignant parts of the State can be, how it can misuse data for positively evil purposes. It's taught me people can't be safe with a digital ID card and so I've signed this. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73...
Petition: Do not introduce Digital ID cards
We demand that the UK Government immediately commits to not introducing a digital ID cards. There are reports that this is being looked at.

Undeniably great progress but this also really illustrates the massive failure to improve outer London (& the inner London deadspots like K&C and Westminster). TfL need stronger power to implement strategic routes over intransigent Borough’s heads.
We've grown London's network of cycleways by over 450% since 2016 - enabling millions of people to cycle safely around the capital every week.
