Um.. . .this aged a certain way.
Trump on why he pardoned notorious drug trafficker Juan Hernandez: “It was a Biden set up. Take any country you want. If someone sells drugs in that country, that doesn’t mean you arrest the president and put him in jail for the rest of his life.”

not surprised but JFC. Look, my Dem senator is Fetterman, so he isn't really a Dem, and my Rep. is Dwight Evans, who is retiring (I believe because of health reasons), but can't someone actually do more than just talk.

Power vacuums never end well.
And there ya have it…

There is something upsetting about a president who does this before he talks to the nation. Doubly upsetting that he is talking to the nation from his resort. And charging the tax payers for as well.
Trump to Fox & Friends on the raid that captured Maduro: "I mean, I watched it literally l like I was watching a television show. If you would've seen the speed, the violence -- it was an amazing thing."

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

It’s old-fashioned to defend mainstream journalism these days but some of the most reliable reporting from people actually on the ground will be the AP and Reuters the next 24 hours. Your Substack journalist writing takes will be using frontline reporting from them.

I have to say it doesn't seem normal that someone have that many cognitive tests in such a short period of time.
Guess how many cognitive exams they gave my dad in the twelve months after he was referred to a dementia specialist by his doctor. After each one, they assured him that he “did great.”

I had one of these kids in a class once. She was so happy when she hit 18.
Since I dumped some really bad news on y'all I wanna tell you about the other side of social media.

It's children of anti-vaxxers turning 18 and filming themselves getting vaxxed.

They are taking down at least one of the two trees at the end of my block. I hope it is not both. The birds, the hawks, like those trees.

All for an apartment building on a street that does not have any parking and where trollies are routinely blocked.

Screw developers.
