It was very naive how many STEM people thought Republicans would stop at the humanities
Heartbreaking. The University of Nebraska will terminate its entire Earth science department.

One of the country's most successful and respected geology & climate programs: gone.

When ideologues & politicians are threatened by the very act of studying climate change, I wonder: who of us is next?
It's over.

Despite the fact that the academic council recommended against it, despite the fact that the program brought in more tuition than it cost, and despite the fact that Nebraskans need & deserve this expertise, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences will be cut.

So apparently: "authors shouldn't be political," is doing the rounds again.

So let's go over this again.
• trans rights are human rights
• LGBTQ+ rights are human rights
• gay people deserve to marry and adopt
• Women's rights are humsn rights.
• Believe women
• black lives matter

Personally, I think the idea that all women should be measured by the failures of Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris is actually a sort of sexist doomerism.

All this bullshit. And we still have the hear if the Supreme Court will take the Obergefell case. Which I'm sure they will, and they'll overturn it in June.

Hell yeah. Economy's fucked. Healthcare and education are beyond my reach. Looking like marriage won't be an option one day. America baby!

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

The cheapest plan available to me (a Georgian) is over $1,000 a month. Healthcare is no longer an option for me. I will ration the medication I take for as long as I can and then I will wait to die.
So every freelancer you know is going to lose their insurance or be bankrupted by premiums because Schumer is an invertebrate

When we were out helping Huntington Citizens Action Group the other day, there was a little girl that was there with her mother. I’m not sure why she, in particular, stood out to me.

If November 4th proved anything, it's that the American people long for change. They long for someone to stand up to this administration. What Schumer and the Democratic establishment did was bend to people who have proven time and time again that they are not acting in good faith.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Every single Dem that caved and agreed to this deal needs to be primaried and voted out. They are cowards who wasted the last month for a half baked promise vote a month from now.
