Tl;dr2: We have a system of checks & balances that no longer does any checking or balancing. Now it provides the shabby veneer of democratic accountability for fascism. It turns out it was all norms & duct tape holding things together for 250 years, & now we're all out of both norms & tape.

The reason why MN is at the top of most quality of life & affordability metrics is because of Tim Walz & Mark Dayton. Dayton rescued our state from Pawlenty's trickle down bs & built the foundation for Walz's success. I can't think of a more successful, progressive governor than Walz in my lifetime.

January 6 is worst event in recent American history because it's ongoing. Our government is telling us it wasn't bad, that those people who shit in Congress were right.
