They are children.
The Trump administration filed a motion to end the decades-old legal ruling that established basic standards for the treatment and release of migrant children.

“The fact that the government refuses to be held accountable to even these most basic standards to keep children safe speaks volumes.”

A video circulating on Reddit shows ICE officers wrestling a Hispanic construction worker to the ground while he repeatedly says that he is a US citizen.

He was reportedly detained for hours until he was eventually released.
His family said that ICE agents did release him after he was finally given the opportunity to prove he was a U.S. citizen—but only after many hours.

This construction site in Foley, Alabama was forced to shut down for at least the day. How many other businesses were affected?

The 19 richest U.S. households saw a $1 trillion wealth increase in 2024, a rise that exceeds the size of Switzerland’s economy.

These 19 households now control $2.6 trillion in wealth — almost as much wealth as the bottom 50% of American households.

If this isn't an oligarchy, what is?

This is what the Senate and House Republicans could make come to pass through budget reconciliation; an increase in ICE's budget for detention from $3.4 billion to $45 billion. It would be enough to detain hundreds of thousands of people at a time, potentially more than in all federal prisons.
This is a stunning find, and a glimpse at the Death Star scale of "mass deportation" spending foreseen in the reconciliation bill moving through Congress.

By comparison, "In the last fiscal year, D.H.S. allocated about $3.4 billion for the entire custody operation overseen by ICE."
