Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

The elimination of USAID is a moral atrocity and all involved made a choice to enable, and then lie about, ending the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in the world.

Charlie Kirk advocated for and promoted political violence every day of his life, and his work is a large part of why we are where we are.

Do not weep for Nazis.
This is so tragic. The endless horror of gun violence in this country should be unacceptable to all of us. And there can be no tolerance for political violence in America. I’m pulling for Mr. Kirk and thinking of his family and the survivors.

Charlie Kirk deserves about as much sympathy as he’s extended to the millions of people whose lives have been destroyed by the rhetoric he and his ilk profit off of.

Charlie Kirk is no more important than the hundreds of school age children shot and killed at school. Guns are the problem.

Oh no, don't celebrate the imminent death of a fascist agitator! That might drive the Trump administration to continue doing whatever it wants!!!!! The only thing that was holding the US back from total disaster was the continued life of Charlie Kirk!!!!!!!!!

The Democrats should put forth gun reform legislation in honor of Charlie Kirk IMMEDIATELY!

Include mandatory wait times & background checks, mental health funding, ban on sale of high capacity magazines, an assault gun buyback program…

We have a responsibility to prevent this needless violence!!m

Re: Kirk shooting at a university, the actually shocking stat to read was that "it marks the 46th shooting that took place at a school in US in 2025 thus far. 24 were on college campuses and 22 were on K-12 school grounds. The incidents left 18 people dead, 76 injured."
US of A is totally broken.

Not one of them addressing the school kids shot today in Colorado.

That says more than i ever could.

Let’s make one thing clear from the start: Charlie Kirk was the victim of a shooting in a country where he, along with other right-wing extremist influencers, have been inciting violence for years. — Kirk is neither a martyr nor a hero, he is a cause.

"Don't be a ghoul about Charlie Kirk!"

No, white libs. You don't get to tell me that I don't get to talk my shit about a man who on multiple occasions has pushed for an America where folks like me get killed to cleanse the land.

Y'all can kiss my ass with that suggestion.

Like the United CEO - do I approve of extra-judicial vigilante shootings - no. Random assassinations don’t help (this is not a condemnation of all political violence). But do I feel bad for ppl like Kirk when shit that they have openly helped to continue finally happens to them? Also no.

I find it strange to see all these politicians saying "political violence has no place in our country," as if we don't have an annual holiday dedicated to celebrating political violence.
