the #BikeBus shows how safety in numbers gives kids the chance to ride, learn, and build confidence on streets that would not feel safe alone. Protected bike lanes, diverters, and street designs that separate children from cars are what make this joy possible every day, not just on Bike Bus days.

This is John Rustad, leader of the BC Conservative party. A party of bigots and conspiracy theorists. He sits with bigot Jordan Peterson for an interview and says this. Climate change is a joke to Conservatives.👇👇👇

Saving the CBC isn't just about protecting your favourite program or personality. It's about preserving national unity -- and preventing Canada from being subject to a hostile foreign takeover. www.nationalobserver.com/2024/11/19/o...
Saving the CBC is really about saving Canada
Pierre Poilievre reportedly has plans to slash the CBC's budget. That would be a disaster for national unity.

Supporting local farmers not only helps the #BuyCanadian / #BoycottUSA movement, it helps mitigate climate change.

Shipping food from the southern US to Canada creates a lot of carbon emissions. Buying local reduces the impact.

A win - win.

I sell used/rare books online. In recent months I’ve revamped my shipping charges to offer reasonable rates to Europe. My sales there have increased noticeably. Small businesses should look outside North America more often.

Stephen Harper was ahead of Trump in the war on knowledge with massive cuts to food inspections, fresh lake research, climate change monitoring and the dismissal of more than 2,000 federal scientists and researchers.

From a month ago. Even more relevant today. Please share it if you agree.
With everything we’re seeing in the United States & the world with increasingly blatant influence & corruption in politics, it should still be a much bigger story in Canada that right wing CPC leader Pierre Poilievre refuses to, & possibly can’t, be successfully granted the usual security clearance.

Canadian Conservatives like to say that any potential new Liberal leader is “tied to Trudeau.”

By comparison tho, Pierre Poilievre is much more tied to Stephen Harper, who was much worse for Canada, than Carney is to Trudeau.

Don’t forget Harper, what he did, & the influence he has over the CPC.
