My first copy of Morrowind was a PCGamer re-release version for 10 quid at the time. I remember the back of the box saying it's a game world with over 500+ hours of content and even as a kid I knew this was a ridiculous claim.

So far there is no real data loss that anyone knows about. We don't know how thorough they've been though so some older/obscure mods might have their source lost. The important backup stuff is already up on a self hosted gitea lol they don't fuck around.

Github just nuked a whole bunch of Illusion (the former 3d hentai company) modding github repos that contained no adult materials themselves and have had nice, professional usage for well over a decade now and that is SUPER lame.
