As a multiple language speaker it's also frustrating to see people using AI for translation because the English speaking world tends to treat translators like workers for hire instead of co authors of text and this feels like more of it. Translation at the literary level is creative work.

Facebook use among teens has plummeted from 71% to 31% in the span of a decade.

Twitter/X has fallen from 33% to 16%.

All other platforms included in this survey have either grown or seen relatively unchanged usage over that same time.
Teens turn to a variety of online platforms, but YouTube continues to stand out. Roughly nine-in-ten teens report ever using it. TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat are the next most widely used platforms.

As I'm grading reflections, I'm definitely squinting and trying to figure out if I can hear "Certainly! I can help you with that" as the sentence prior.
Nothing will make you an education AI skeptic faster than grading some college take home assignments. Admins who haven’t been in a classroom in years push it as a learning tool. Students are laughing at them as they use it as a cheating tool. It’s all instructors are texting about with each other.
