You cannot overstate how startling it is to see a politician just say the thing with clarity and poise. No fearful hemming. No overwrought qualifying down til it’s meaningless. No lingering sense that there is a loyalty to a donor class or an ideology of stasis that they’d never admit to.
Mamdani: "I am in support of abolishing ICE. What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people."

(For a friend) This 5AB at close range has just enough of a gap such that the AC is too late to cancel off the first hit, but barely too early to be buffered for the second hit. I can repro this in training mode, but it’s hard.

In 2D Mario platformers, Mario can either crouch or slide, but is denied the ability to sit in place. However, with a specific setup in Super Mario Bros. 3, Mario will come to rest in a sliding animation, finally allowing him to simply sit.

i think this is exactly correct. what's the point in going from 1000 sqft to 2000 sqft if i have to drive an hour to my nearest friend either way?

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Hooktail eats 8 Toads to recover health. The game ensures these sacrificial Toads always stay in order to be eaten in the end. They are Mario's biggest fans, will always show up, and no action can make them leave.

Before I call it a night, the current GDQ MMBN run reminds me of the best mod for MMBN2: Mea Man Battle Network. A rebalance/fix mod that improves the game by removing the overpowered G-Code chips. Along with the letter G from the entire game. From dialogue to sprites
