So the National Guard doesn’t get the little $1776 bonus, just Regular forces
Not a great look, since that part of the military is currently bearing the brunt of the administration’s domestic deployments and has 3 dead in the last 3 weeks (DC and Syria)

Yesterday, we filed a lawsuit challenging Trump’s illegal federalization of the National Guard.
This morning, we filed a motion for a temporary restraining order to block the federalization from going into effect.
We’ll keep sharing updates as things progress.

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.
