The market for apps that are basically "This existing software, but how it was 5-8 years ago" is functionally infinite at this point. Every Office app. The entire Adobe suite. It's open season.

With software you can only offer a shit service for so long before someone realizes it's very easy to provide an alternative and steal your lunch.

Legitimately who is the IT team at Infold Games because the way I don't even see leaks from LnD and IN anywhere on the internet is insane. The most I saw were speculations but I'm not seeing any concrete leaks. It's mind-boggling and pretty impressive.

I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

So about ten years ago I found a small network of bots on Reddit dedicated to spreading hate. The thing about it is that these weren't even responding to political topics - they were just responding to random keywords with insults and hate.

this is kind of a niche issue but: if you are getting weird and hostile responses that feel a little off, there are some folks on here making accounts that automatically reply to large quantities of posts in a vaguely hostile manner. you can ignore them, and also, it's not personal

Was just talking about this with a buddy. If we want to build better communities, then it's better to not burn energy on things that arent interested in anything but demanding your attention.

gentle thought that big political "activist" accounts may not be worth your attention if they post lots of angry soundbites but never post any call to for practical action like calling your reps or supporting your local library or mutual aid group or doing anything other than scrolling and clicking
