So I did attend a protest today against the murder of Renee Nicole Good, though I will not disclose when or where. I actually made a fairly elaborate poster for it (as in I spent half an hour on it instead of five minutes like usual).

Remember this holiday season that many marginalized people don't have the luxury of putting aside politics. I'm a cis, hetero presenting, white dude, its easy for me to put politics out of sight and out of mind. But try to have some empathy for why others might feel the need to stay tuned in.

In a rare win for American parents, New Mexico has officially become the first US state to provide free child care up to age 13 for all families. This is a bit of good news that's worth celebrating and it's an example of what could be possible for us nationwide.

In a rare show of courtesy, police departments all over the US reported that the mass protests on October 18th were overwhelmingly peaceful and posted thank you messages for protestors. Out of millions of people, only MAGA agitators were arrested. ICE stayed away due to the crowd size. #3E #NoKings

I know there is no way Tron Ares can work as a movie. Why? Well, the recurring theme across the other Tron installments is ordinary people (programs) struggling against an authoritarian regime (the MCP, Clu, etc). Disney has become that regime, so of course they'd declaw this radical aspect of Tron.
