My kids field trip, basketball tryout and my 8 year old’s talent show were all cancelled because a right wing youtuber harassed some daycares in a VP candidates state.
So to keep people in the loop, one of the biggest school districts in the state is closed Tuesday and Wednesday because they need to give teachers time to build hybrid options for families worried about their children getting kidnapped on the way to school by lawless masked armed federal goons.

They are kidnapping non-white people, regardless of status only to sort them out later, often not even taking them to the federal building but abandoning them beaten miles from where they were. And they are brutalizing witnesses, most of whom are white citizens who only have whistles and phones.

The only things that seems to offer any protection, or at least compel a moment of pause, from these armed paramilitaries is the presence of a large number of white citizen allies whistling and observing and making their job as annoying as possible.

The Supreme Court only cleared the way for Kavanaugh Stops four months ago and ICE now openly engages in violent racial profiling, snatching anyone who looks non-white and treating them as presumptively guilty of a crime. Remarkable how quickly our liberties can be crushed when courts go along.
Can confirm I have personally seen three attempts just today of agents in a convoy of ICE vehicles trying to snatch random POCs along Central Ave - and then being chased off by neighbors with whistles. It's blatant racial profiling.

That first photo is a gut punch. A bunch of heavily armed goons too scared to show their faces bullying a scared kid with the full force of the federal government behind them.
A teenage boy was walking home in Minneapolis yesterday when four masked men jumped out of a van & questioned him - with no parent or guardian present.
He was bundled into the van & taken away.
Bystanders heard the boy say: “Can I just go home?”

One of the biggest obstacles in trying to organize against ICE here on the ground is a capitalism in which bosses would rather see their employees disappeared by the federal paramilitaries than change their business practices to keep them safe.

Also! The CFPB had a rule in place at the end of the Biden administration to cap credit card late fees at $8. It was likely to get killed in court, but the Trump administration made a deal with banks to make it go away.

Today @nytimes.com reports that Trump/Musk/Vought cut 220,000 federal workers. Not only is that far too many, it wasn't done intelligently. They fired or drove out, in so many instances, our smartest, most experienced and service-oriented people. They're heroes. And these assholes traumatized them.
