Single-stair reform makes a ton of sense in Chicago - since it we have a large building stock of what are effectively point access blocks just with an additional set of stairs clipped to the back. chicagoreader.com/best-of-chic...

Bar Grid Now
My transport plan is simple: a lifetime ban on driving for anyone with a DUI, turning drunks into a powerful constituency in favour of dense walkable neighbourhoods

If they don’t get it done today, they’ll send us hurtling towards the first steps of enacting service cuts.

This is not a drill! Call your reps TODAY.

People yearn to be the first to pose the "Next Big Radical Question TM" of the day. These annoyingly tend to multiply when uncertainty is on the horizon, but are often ill-conceived, groundless, and lacking in empathy or understanding of long term dynamics. Go outside and touch grass.
Wow. Just wow.

I've begun a policy *admittedly dangerous* of simply walking into the stop-signed crosswalks without looking. You can fucking hit me if you want.
I never want to see another human trot across a crosswalk, hurry their stroller/kids/mobility device or rush a senior resident through an intersection or any road. It’s ridiculous, like we’ve been gifted some incredible act of patience and kindness from our auto overlords.
