Yo, if ANYONE comes to your door in costume they get candy. If they DON’T have a costume, they get candy. As a kid who grew up poor and often had a ”lazy costume”, fuck you. Don’t be a classist shit bag. Give everyone candy who wants to participate in Halloween regardless. Keep the magic alive. 🦴🦴🦴

PSA: the CDC has a program that pays for your COVID vaccine if your insurer won't. The guy at CVS told me that my insurer had not added the new vaccine to its formulary yet, so I'd need to pay $190. I told him about this program, showed him the website, and paid nothing. 🤗

When facing the "All we need is STEM!" approach to education, my usual response is: Developing the vaccine was the STEM problem; distribution & getting shots in arms was the Social Science problem; getting people to trust it & combatting misinformation was the Humanities problem-- which did we fail?
