I’m very sorry to announce this to the rest of the country & the world, but a transitional logo has been chosen for the 2034 Salt Lake City Olympics & this is it. Why does it say Utah? We don’t know. Why is the font illegible? Yet another mystery. Did they go ugly on purpose? Again, no idea.

I’m old. Making things is my lifelong delight. It’s a continuous source of joy and contentment. Also, being a beginner is good for you. I didn’t know how to bake bread on Jan 1. Now I get to find something more to learn and do.

I bought a new filing cabinet/rolling table and it's been sitting in a corner for weeks because I didn't want the bullshit of having to put it together. Tonight I said what the hell and opened the box. It was already assembled. All I had to do was put the wheels on. Happy Thanksgiving.
