It’s always my habit to prune my fruit trees between Christmas and New Year, a tradition I picked up from one of my old head gardeners.

I’m really happy how my espalier trees are coming along since they were planted nearly 5 years ago

I like doing my business at the dispensaries, not only for their fine product and prices but also for the privacy, writes Sterling MacDonald.

"It's crazy that people who've only been here for around 400 years are making decisions about what happens to the heritage of the people who were here for 12,600 years previous to that — it's mind boggling," Racher said.

Number 6 on my top 10 favourite photos of 2025. I have photographed a lot of elk but this one stands out. I’m always looking for that visible vapour oof the breath in the cool mornings and to get it against a dark background with the bull facing the camera it was perfect! #wildlife #elk #bullelk

Our biggest national faultline is not Alberta separatism.

If the U.S. decides Ottawa is optional (as it has just done with Denmark) the question becomes: Who does Trump call first when he wants something, Carney or Ford?

The real risk is not that Canada “breaks.”
