Yeah, we're in a particularly shiny part of a golden age for fan translations. PC Engine, PS1, Saturn, Famicom; a bounty of more accessible stuff. Starting to see more Wii and PS2 as well now. Some really cool hacks come out too.
Seeing all these PC-Engine CD games get fan translated recently is really cool to see. It's kind of crazy to think that a large majority of all the English patches available for the system have only been released in the past few years.

This is a fair question to ask, but so is the opposite: do all the people complaining about the censorship of Horses also complain about the censorship of anime titty games and the like? Because you can only truly be against censorship by opposing it with both of these, not just one or the other.

I'll keep saying this over & over - nobody got into shmups to play novice modes. They got into them because they saw Hibachi, Larsa, an Ikaruga double play or something like that. Devs gotta be confident & have a punk attitude & spend less time thinking about novices
