Absolutely! So many charities would be unnecessary if we had better Government policy & funding e.g. Why does every media outlet refer people to charities for potential mental health issues from disturbing news stories? Why do we have to have homeless charities? etc
Anyway, donate to charities if you can. I support quite a few. But really, every charity is just a govt failure, especially in a world where we give the richest 10% $18bn a year in tax breaks for capital gains
