If you’re really serious about changing this country so this can never happen again, it’s going to take years, or more likely decades, of sustained, difficult, and increasingly dangerous work. Elections are part of it, but the institutional Democratic Party as it exists now won’t be the vehicle.

Journalists needing to be seen as "even-handed" no matter what the facts is killing journalism.
It's worth asking why every elite institution is issuing statements like this rather than pointing out the obvious fact that the institutional right commits and glorifies violence far more than the left. Is there a reason you feel you can't say that out loud?
