Funny how hunting and trapping young women to coerce them into "dating," through pre-meditated sabotage like letting their air out of their cars' tires or canceling their hotel rooms, is such a common tactic among Trump's most prominent allies.

If you rename the Department of Defense the Department of War, then bomb fishing boats in the Caribbean, and shoot an unarmed priest in the head with a pepper bullet, you should automatically be barred from receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for the rest of your life.

“This is exactly the moment for people to stand up. And do I see enough people doing it? No, I don’t. It shouldn’t be that there are Democrats that are afraid, because you know what? We’re the targets. We need to be strong, we need to fight back.”

Thank you, @govpritzker.illinois.gov!

why are govt employees staying at a 4star luxury hotel like the ritz- carlton?

It’s unsettling that instead of investing in inclusive education, therapy access, and family support, some are fixated on analyzing autistic children’s bodies. Autism is not a moral or physical flaw—it’s a neurotype. The real crisis is neglecting their rights, not their anatomy. #Pink

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."

Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

Without ACA subsidies, a couple in Peabody, MA earning $85,000 a year could see their monthly health care premium increase from $892 to $2,096.

Republicans shut down the government over this and want families to pay thousands more.

Democrats want to keep insurance costs low.

TIER TWO: Americans who brought Donald to justice for the crimes he did commit, they get prosecuted as revenge even if they committed no crimes whatsoever.

Reading Frum's piece, I'm most struck by the fact that Republicans have taken their ACA stance on virtually every major issue since. They've abandoned governing and have become a permanent opposition party, even while in power.

This is exactly what @davidfrum.bsky.social predicted long ago in his famous “Waterloo” piece the same week the ACA was signed into law:

Thread. In short, after 15 years, t he ACA has joined Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security as a bedrock law of the land they have to pretend to care about.

They’re still trying to gut it of course, but they can no longer pretend it’s a temporary anomaly.

John Thune is nervous. He just spread a bunch of lies on @pbsnewshour but I noticed one thing in particular: He reassured the audience that the underlying structure of ACA would be intact. He's lying. But I don't think I've heard a Republican make a promise about ACA like that before. Have you?
