Looking at the data you can visualize the various intersecting strategies as various groups disseminate legislation templates. With a complicit news media, they manufactured the political will for where we are now.
I came across that today while working on tracing the legislative language used to describe gender identity and sex.
The propaganda term "biological sex" explodes in 2015 through ADF model bills on bathrooms & sports.

I haven’t seen it illustrated like this before. Very effective messaging. Of course it actually depends a lot on how fast the vehicle’s being driven, how big the vehicle is and how it’s designed, and how small the victims (too often kids) are. Via @yegbike.bsky.social #SpeedKills #CarBloat

I have lost all patience with the apparently unshakeable conviction that striking a reasonable, moderate pose means assuming the sincerity of transparently pretextual horseshit. Donald Trump does not care about reducing crime in DC. He is testing and normalizing paramilitary deployments in cities.
