Museums really are leaving money on the table by not selling more reproductions of Little Guys
Every museum should have a Little Guys Tour, and at the end of the tour you can buy reproductions of all the little guys

One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of forms of regulation of recreational sex and birth control would/will be largely broken-taillight-type laws. By which I mean when you create a law you can’t possibly really enforce, it’s just a blanket power to selectively harass people you don’t like.

The majority of college students in this country attend community colleges.

I teach at one of the biggest community colleges in the country.

I wish more people paid attention to what students, faculty, and staff at community colleges had to say about the state of higher education.
I'm a professor at an Ivy League institution and I think about Ivy League institutions about a tenth as much as the editors of major media outlets do.

I'm begging you, for the love of God:

Touch grass. Somewhere *other* than Harvard Yard.

the same state that demands women be mothers is prosecuting a woman to death for wanting to live long enough to mother her children, because pro-life nattering isn't about safeguarding babies. it has always been predicated upon women's suffering.

I feel like this sort of surveillance is something that academic librarians should be talking about with students as a matter of principle, but that structural/political forces won’t exactly encourage that
