Leider mal wieder was in eigener Sache.

Danke

When they say Trump calling a reporter "piggy" is "just being honest," they are revealing a key feature of the reactionary mind: it believes, at a deep brainstem level, that *everyone* is awful & selfish & ugly on the inside. Everyone just suppresses it out of fear of social disapproval. Not Trump!

"The reality right now is that if you refuse to engage with the science- the science that shows that COVID is a virus that disables human beings, and that this virus is asymptomatic 44% of the time- then you are spreading a disabling virus, and you are harming people. "
Beyond all reason
Long COVID patients are constantly harangued about our requests for COVID safety. Yet what we're asking for is far less than what we're called on to do to survive.

Since I got sick I haven’t not worn a mask a single time inside unless everyone in the room PCR tested and it was ventilated. My body can’t make white blood cells so I’m very careful about this stuff! Sending solidarity 😷

Covid is a social justice issue.

Mitigations like masks, anti virals, air purifiers and tests cost money.

We should have free respirators in public places. Mandatory masking in hospitals. Clean air benchmarks. Paid time off.

Those steps would drastically reduce spread.

I know no one will see this but letting children get infected over and over again because we 1) never invested in ventilation and 2) demonized masks is unforgivable.
Researchers behind the study published Tuesday analyzed the electronic health records of more than 465,000 children, looking at the prevalence of long COVID diagnoses and groups of symptoms common to long COVID, among kids who’d had one infection and kids who’d had two infections.
Risk of long COVID in children doubles after second COVID-19 infection, according to study by Lurie doctor
