Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

When you’re over-committed with personal and work responsibilities, but all you want to do is make some artwork/stingers, fux around with modular synths, and bullshit about ridiculous movies with friends on your podcast

Black Friday sale is the only one I know. be a AAA24 member for additional 10%, but at $10/month I doubt it’s worth the potential savings.

So they’re saying human-made art is highly valuable. Sounds like the cost of doing business, mfers.

Scientists are saying the future is going to be far more futuristic than Richard Kelly had originally predicted.

New Episode Alert!
This week Graham takes Joe off the deep end with Richard Kelly's oddly political, oddly prescient, oddly sci-fi, well just plain odd, story of actors, religion, government overreach, and rife with post-9/11 paranoia, Southland Tales.

Ok. THIS is where Bowie began to really hone the sound he was attempting on his prior 90s albums.

A solid work. “Hallo Spaceboy” in particular sounds like it was produced by Al Jourgensen

Subscribe to The Onion. I want to have more subscribers than The Free Press as soon as possible. This is achievable.

In exchange, when we sell the company to a drone and cobalt magnate so I can dive in a pool of gold coins Scrooge McDuck-style, you will be spared my wrath and retribution.

Buddha of Suburbia has some flashes of experimental brilliance as he blends jazz and hip-hop along with some of his signature lyrical style mixing narrative storytelling, poetry, strange harmony and sporadic rhythmic meter.

Perhaps the most consistent element of his 80s and 90s work is the lyrics.

David Bowie owned the 1970s. 12 albums from The Man Who Sold the World to Scary Monsters. And all of them are good to classic albums.

unbelievable output. The 80s and 90s are much less inspired, seemingly attempting to stay relevant while sounding like a caricature of himself and other pop tunes.

Decided to do a full Bowie retrospective. All Bowie, all the time, all 26 studio albums. I’m at PinUps and I honestly can’t believe how many songs I hadn’t heard from his late60s/early 70s era. I basically only knew Aladdin Sane and the Man Who Sold the World front-to-back.
