I am a colleague of several “Christian“ Nationalists, so can confirm this. The only religion they recognize is their interpretation of Christianity. Based on my own Protestant upbringing, I don’t think Jesus would recognize or approve of their Christo-fascist version of Christianity.
A reminder that when Christian Nationalists in the Republican Party lecture you about the importance of "religious freedom," they are not talking about YOUR religion or YOUR freedom. They are talking about THEIR freedom to impose THEIR religion on you.
