Enchanted, the reader follows j̠͇̩̳̈͗̃ṩ̐́͛p̾̓́̎̚ through a midsummer's night in which tales of seduction interweave and oscillate between the sublime, comic, and passion to be seen, for whom life is a perpetual show emptied of every intimacy and joy

Norman Podhoretz used to go into DC bookstores and put his own books on endcap displays. Which is a total dick move (and probably counterproductive) but at least he was funny and owned up to it when I caught him at it

Oh my god y'all I had not seen the rest of the Vanity Fair photos holy shit. Christopher Anderson deserves a medal.

Look at this. He left the LIGHT SWITCHES in the edited photos! These assholes look like their well-meaning mom took a picture of them on their first day in a grown-up job.

Cotton actually chuckled when asked to describe the footage he had just seen of the second strike that killed the survivors of the first strike.

“I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat ― loaded with drugs, bound for the United States ― back over, so they could stay in the fight."

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.
