I would add a little nuance just to say, we are *all* obligated to speak up against injustice, and I think that obligation lies especially heavy when you have an audience. Especially when that audience may rely on you to help educate them politically

Like their intellectual predecessors in the Hitler Youth, the point of TPUSA is to intimidate the educators and students who don’t share ruling party ideology into silence. This is just basic fascism.
Happening now: Texas leaders announcing a rollout of a statewide program to put TPUSA chapters in high schools and colleges across the state. Gov. Abbott adds that schools that stand in the way should be reported to the Texas Education Agency.

Dude. Yes. Alito and Thomas are of course the standout examples, but all of the Republican justices have tells in their writing and their questioning indicating that they are, to varying degrees, marinating their brains in dumb bitch juice
My theory, fwiw, is that Supreme Court Justices are not immune to Twitter brain poisoning. I suspect all six have horrific information environments and have therefore lost the ability to understand the people who don't agree with them.
The part that I can't figure out is what John Roberts thinks he is doing. He used to seem to be a judge who was very attentive to appearances, I think on a theory that you can't draw too much attention to yourself without undermining your ability to continue to shape the law.

<p data-end="787" data-start="458">Over the past 24 hours alone, hospitals received the bodies of five Palestinians, three newly killed and two recovered from the ruins, as well as 11 people who were wounded in fresh Israeli attacks.</p>
<p data-end="787" data-start="458">Since the ceasefire took effect on 11 October, Israeli violence has still claimed 376 lives, wounded 981 people, and led to the recovery of 626 bodies from destroyed neighbourhoods.</p>
