just think i should put it out there that i listened to just over 300 audiobooks this year. Some good, some not so much, some truly amazing. I am so grateful to all the authors that spend long—sometimes difficult—hours putting words on the page & then bravely sharing them with others. Thanks heaps 🥰

Just a thing about this: a common statement in writing is that you can fix crap, but you can't fix a blank page.
I have heard AI apologists claim that this is why it's fine to generate a first draft.

Not to go down this week's particular rabbit hole very deeply, but as a guy who was *in fact hiring Hollywood writers* between 2011 and 2018, four staffs in total, it seems a lot of smart commenters are missing I did not diversify my rooms to be woke, I diversified my rooms to have better rooms.
