Being Canadian means we are treacherous because we made an incompetent hater look "silly."

the denial of adoptees’ access to their own birth records is a legal enshrinement of our permanently juvenile status. #adoption was supposed to save us as children, but the fetters it places on us remain throughout our lives.
the oppression of children runs so deep in our society that one of the primary ways that we disempower people is by assigning them child-adjacent status as adults. license to abuse flows from that

It’s really not that complicated.

Data centers should be powered with renewable energy, not fossil fuels.

They should substantially benefit the communities they’re in, instead of endangering people’s clean air and water and driving up their electric bills.

We've seen how putting a tech CEO in charge of the gov't turned out for the U.S. - now Carney is championing this idea for Canada

"The public service is not a business. It is a democratic institution that serves Canadians"

A woman in Saskatchewan needs surgery for a parathyroid issue and is being offered MAiD instead.

There’s no one in the province who can perform the procedure and the government won’t pay to send her elsewhere.

This is why disability advocates warn about assisted dying

Exactly the same rhetoric being used for Canada Post, a vital service the Carney government is destroying.
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
