Millions of workers are toiling away from their families over the holidays. So thank the workers who serve you. Appreciate the workers who care for you. Respect the workers who pick up your trash. Salute the workers who get you your mail. Pay all workers a living wage.

ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

The IIO report is very disturbing. Neighbours who tried to help Amyotte all realized he was suffering from bear spray - and told police and a 911 dispatcher this.

Police saw someone in drug psychosis in the throes of a controversial condition called 'excited delirium.' thetyee.ca/News/2025/12...

ABC councillors saying that it's "unfortunate" people are linking closed baby change tables as being political, or part of the budget.

But it was a deputy city manager that explicitly raised removing them from high vandalism areas as part of cutting the budget for maintenance of civic facilities.

Ken Sim was there in person to witness this.

That's right. The Mayor who just forced through an austerity budget couldn't resist a junket to D.C. to be part of today's Spectacle.

For 36 years, leaders from both parties have recognized this day. But this year, Donald Trump didn’t think it was even worth a few minutes of his time. Instead, his administration is slashing lifesaving funding and stripping essential resources from the very people who depend on them.

This budget debate is painful.

The mayor sets an arbitrary budget target (so he can say he raised taxes less than the last mayor) then he shovels money at the police ….

and then every other city budget item has to justify its existence vs “filling potholes”.
