Star Wars is really the clearest example of what Bender in Futurama describes when he says “ My story's a lot like yours, only more interesting 'cause it involves robots.” If you make any videogame but it’s Star Wars it’s instantly twice as good. NBA2k? Yes. Disco Elysium? Yes. Animal Crossing? Yes.

I deeply loved chromehounds. Not really a mech head but the aspect of having a cycling war where you and your faction of real people could tip the scales felt so fun and engaging. Haven’t seen or played anything like it since
