Never, ever look to a physician for preventative advice.

Physicians do not do prevention. They do aftercare. "The vaccine I gave you will help, AFTER you've been infected!"

Don't want to get infected in the first place? Follow engineering advice. Wear an N95. Clean indoor public air. ASHRAE 241!
"There has been a lot of squabbling over masks in recent weeks. The reality is that yes they do help ... we are not at the stage where they should be mandatory. However if you are working with people who are vulnerable, or in a crowded space then you should wear a mask."

Covid makes you weaker for the fight against all illnesses by damaging your immune system.
A Damaged Immune System means you’re sicker, more often, for longer periods.

Imagine if, every winter, water treatment stopped for 4months & people drank dirty water & overwhelmed our hospitals with vomiting & diarrhea. >65 & <5 most likely to die Imagine if the govt just called it "gastro season" & reminded people to vomit in their elbows #Influenza

The new 'razor blade throat' Covid variant is causing an increase in hospitalizations across Asia

France reported a 19% positivity rate on tests

The US has detected it in a number of major cities

What's being done? They're taking away boosters. No free tests or paid time off

Wear a respirator.

An FDA advisory committee unanimously recommended the next #Covid vaccine should be a monovalent targeting the JN.1 coronavirus lineage. Although the pandemic was declared officially over, Covid remains a key cause of death in the US. Since October, between 30k & 50k people have died from Covid 👇

Most people don’t realize this, but real unemployment is actually around 25% and tech is in a deep recession.

This was after 2 months in NYC. It’s pure fantasy that schools could have opened with 0 issues if only politicians weren’t so cowardly.

The stories of the pregnant people who have died of Covid are tragic.

Many leave behind young kids, like this mom of 6.

We want to prevent every one of these deaths & hospitalizations that we can.

Repeat Covid infections are not inevitable. They don’t strengthen your immune system. That’s the comfortable lie we were told so we would “go back to normal”. It was for the economy, not our health.

Masking, clean air, upgraded ventilation and paid time off would drastically reduce transmission

I think it’s time we extend unemployment benefits from 6 months to 12 months. We have been in a silent recession. It is harder than ever to find a new job.

Holy moly, Ontario! 😱 Please read about how getting measles wipes out any immunity you had built up over your lifetime to anything else, like starting over as a baby. That’s a really bad thing in the age of pandemics so get your measles booster/vaccine to protect your immune system & mask 😷 #ONpoli

Just paid $13 for an 18 pack of eggs at Whole Foods. It was the only one available. And I consider myself lucky.
Went to Costco today. I can’t really complain about the price of eggs — because there weren’t any. Not a single one.
Because Bird flu, but 🤫 were not supposed to talk about it.
