I don't care if a non-disabled person accesses a disability accommodation for the same reason I don't care if a child whose parents are rich gets free lunch at school. We don't need to means test being a kind person. I have better things to do with my time than be a cop over social services.

In 1855 Elizabeth Jennings Graham brought a suit that initiated the desegregation of NYC transit. Raised by politically active parents (her was mother formerly enslaved, her entrepreneur father was awarded a patent in 1821) Ms. Graham was a teacher, organist, & kindergarten founder.

the thing about an adaptation from medium to medium is that there (imo) must be a purpose—something that could be said with the heart and spirit of the former more clearly through the lens/visual vocabulary of the latter—is that it requires a perspective, not only a knowledge of the source material

It’s all an attitude of being fine with authoritarianism, just not in their preferred cities. High crime rates in Republican-led states isn’t a gotcha! It’s a tragedy and a canary in a coal mine about what systemic racism and poverty beget. Do better, y’all. Not one city should be occupied.
When I see people online, even in jest, suggest that people living in Republican-controlled states should be abandoned because of their politicians, I feel a deep heartache. New York CREATED Donald Trump and none of y’all are ever talk about it the way you disparage Alabama or Mississippi.
