President Hernandez was responsible for smuggling 500 TONS of cocaine into the United States! He was the top dog; the Pablo Escobar figure! He wasn’t just “selling drugs in that country.”
Reporter: You have made so clear how you want to keep drugs out of the US—

Trump: Right

Reporter: Can you explain why you would pardon a notorious drug trafficker?

Trump: If somebody sells drugs in that country, that doesn’t mean you arrest the president

Reporter should take the same cognitive test.
Reporter: Governor Walz called for the release of your MRI results

Trump: They were perfect like my phone call where I got impeached.

Reporter: Can you tell us what they were looking at?

Trump: I have no idea. It was just an MRI. It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it.

If you are married to a US spouse, your temporary visa (usually for 3 months) will lapse before your case is processed. The government allowed you could stay in the US while awaiting case processing. Now the Trump admin is saying that is a visa overstay and arresting the spouses.

i don't know if this is just me bc of things i've been reading? it also brings to mind the pullman rail company and the pullman porters

post civil war, staffed near entirely with recently freed Black men and women, dressed and primed to offer an "antebellum experience" in exchange for tips
Between "dress better when you fly" and seeing several articles about "why don't Americans dress better when they" in major publications, it feels like there's a creeping move toward classism disguised as fashion or taste happening and it feels very intentional.

once 'the pullman porters' started demanding a wage and asking for tips instead of accepting whatever they were given, they were presented in print, etc as being poorly kept, pants raggedly, shoes coming apart, looking like a beggar

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

I hope this does not apply to me, at least not too much, but it's starting to become clear that men infected by toxic masculinity often have no idea.
They have no clue that their behavior is sometimes that of an asshole.

Every Democratic elected official should be saying today:

“Kristi Noem violated the law and she WILL face consequences.” Lying about the law is not a defense.
KARL: Did you know about the judge's order when you issued your order for the planes to continue?

KRISTI NOEM: This is an activist judge. We comply with all federal orders that are lawful and binding.
