When do you think it’s best to complain about living under a fascist regime? Before your free speech is completely eliminated or after?
Pretty sure none of us within the USA would be able to freely complain about fascism on Bluesky if we were currently living in a fascist state.

One doesn’t erase the other. Plenty of horrible people, rapists, serial killers etc. manage a veneer of respectability. You knew who he was. Your friend didn’t.
