So Bovino is apparently gone, but what about the rest of these jagoffs? And can we read between the lines of reporting that says said jagoffs may be back in the spring and assume they folded at the first hint of Chicago winter?

WGN Morning News just played "Abacab" by Genesis as their bumper going to commercial after a story that involved a CPD detective convicted of corruption and I can't help thinking that you can't spell "Abacab" without ACAB.

Nobody cares what I think, but if the shoe was on the other foot, there would be coordinated messaging about how enough of their point and could no longer allow the opposition to use vulnerable Americans and government workers as political pawns, so the decision was made to engage elsewhere.

Not minimizing events here or anywhere in the country, but the thing about Chicago is that we spend the winter digging out of the snow. We’re cold from rain, slush, the wind. We trudge around in the darkness & get shit done. We watch our sports teams lose a lot. Perseverance is the default setting 👊🏻
Talked to a young man, my son's age, hit by pepper balls so many times 1 day in Sept he went to hospital; he came back same day. He was in resource tent crew, Broadview cops cruelly took tent down w no notice. He & friends went thru dumpster they put it in to salvage what they could. fucking heroic.

I'm assuming this is a known thing, but I'm taking a Master Class for Voiceover that's in this weird uncanny valley of being presented live. Like, it's clearly being presented as if it was live, but there are some glitches in the matrix, like responding to the same people in the chat in "real time."

These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.
