Not really "removed", the old ones are still there, but: Bring back battle leves.

Gee, I wonder why the overworld is so dead, when there's nothing to do there.

I thought they were fun! Okay not the /beckon ones, but the others were.

This one is for the players!

SE has let you choose one old/removed mechanic to add back to the game (ex. Belts, TP, cross class skills, attribute materia, etc). What are you choosing?

Does anyone know what these are? I got them from my local Asian grocer. Its Phillipine-owned but they have stuff from all over. Its got smooth Azuki in it, and the crust is flaky. They also have a wintermelon flavor #Asian #vietnamese #Chinese #thai #dessert

How does Y'shtola play mahjong, anyway? A short comic.

(Please don't come for me, Y'shtola fans, I love her too, I just thought this would be funny)

I could have looked like this when I was younger, if my egg had cracked earlier. Now I don't have enough hair... 😔

Anyway, since Bluesky is welcoming ICE with open arms, I'm going to be moving over to blackskycomra.de later today, and will be engaging with Bluesky less often in general.

Fuck you, @bsky.app.

Holy shit, shout out to Not Tiled for letting me make maps while I'm depression loafing in bed!

I hate this timeline

Morning Star Farms sausage links aren't vegan anymore and I didn't find out until I took this box out of the freezer

And listen. ICE doesn’t care about your passport anyway. They detain US citizens constantly.

None of this is actually about immigration. It never was, but they aren’t even pretending anymore.

Saw a lot of headlines saying "wikipedia is embracing ai" being tossed around tabloids, and I'm pretty sure they were maliciously written to make you feel a certain way about Wikipedia. What's actually happening is that wikipedia is demanding payment for data scraping and the corpos don't like that.
Sure. AI companies have ALWAYS been training their models on Wikipedia content, which under the free and open access model is available to anyone — including AI companies. Agreements like these require AI companies to limit and offset the strain they place on Wikimedia infrastructure.

Katherine Applegate’s book has a controversial protagonist: a tree named Red. Red is both male and female, which trees often are — but the detail has still led to the cancellation of two community-wide readings of the book. Read our interview with @kaaauthor.bsky.social at: pen.org/katherine-ap...
Katherine Applegate’s Book Was Labeled ‘Deliberate Indoctrination.’ It’s About the Power of Kindness.
Author Katherine Applegate tells PEN America what children miss out on when adults refuse to let them read her books.

LRP - those "special fonts" aren't actually fonts, y'all. They're Unicode characters for things like mathematical symbols, which is why screenreaders don't treat them like text and they get read out as a garbled mess (on top of being hard to read for many sighted people too).

Knock it the fuck off.

Delete Spotify
In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

I did some art. I don't have a scanner, so I took a photo with my phone.

Because I'm an overthinker, I want to clarify that the only thought I put into the character designs was "I want to make them look distinct from one another".

For over a decade I have tied my shoes one specific way: Ian's Secure Shoelace Knot. I learned it from Ian (aka Professor Shoelace) whose site is over two decades old. The knot has never failed me. I spoke with Ian about knots and the dangers of the modern internet. aftermath.site/ians-shoelac...
Ian's Is Still The Best Site For Tying Your Shoelaces
Ian's Shoelace Site has been teaching people to tie their shoes for more than two decades. His knots are wonderful. But it is vulnerable to the forces tearing the internet apart.
