I've been seeing my favorite fuzzy friends around! 🍂🐛
Illustration of a wooly (sometimes spelled woolly) bear caterpillar. It's fuzzy and cute and has a happy little smile. There's lines radiating around it and above it says "it's wooly time!" in lowercase hand lettering. The background is a light orange checkered pattern.

Illustration I made of Death House from Curse of Strahd. My first campaign as a DM!
A tall, four-story house in a creepy, misty setting. Several windows are lit from inside giving it a hellish vibe. Three adventurers stand at the entrance, greeted by two children.

Me: man, I feel like shit this morning. Flushed. Headachey. Jittery. Must be the weather change.

(remembers the two huge cups of coffee I had this morning)

Me, who sometimes has issues with caffeine: OOPS.

When tax breaks for billionaires were set to expire in December, Republicans made that priority number 1—because heaven forbid billionaires have to worry about filling up their private jets!

But tax credits for families to afford health care? Republicans refuse to talk about it.

Trans rights are civil rights. If you aren't willing to die on the hill of trans rights, then you aren't willing to die on the hill of Black rights. Of Jewish rights. Of disabled rights. Of gay rights. Of anyone's rights. Human rights.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.

Capt Tietjen has a long record of actions that diminish public confidence in SPD. We cannot afford that. I want to give the new chief the benefit of the doubt, but this decision reflects either bad judgment or a lack of due diligence, neither of which will be accepted when I’m Mayor.
SPD Chief Puts Cop Who Called 2020 Protesters "Cockroaches" In Charge of East Precinct
Mike Tietjen, who was promoted over a gay acting commander, was suspended, reassigned, and reprimanded after multiple complaints in 2020, including an incident in which officers taunted a trans woman.

Boosted by prayers, a kaiju size Dolly Parton arises from Tennessee, strumming her guitar.

Children’s books, tickets to Dollywood, Duncan Hines cake mix, Lodge cast iron pans, and Covid vaccines rain down as she strides across the US bringing good will to everyone.

“I didn’t mean to scare anyone or make it sound so serious … She’s been a little under the weather and I simply asked for prayers bc I believe so strongly in the power of prayer. It was nothing more than a little sister asking for prayers for her big sister. Thank you all for lifting her up.”

The fire detector industrial complex, man.

The low battery beep only goes off at 3am, so, in your half asleep state, you break the detector trying to change the battery & have to buy a new one.

It took a highly sophisticated Jacquard weave to create the incredibly detailed oranges that form the fabric of of this early 1890s dress. You can almost smell the citrusy peel. There so many details to observe here, the pattern matching, the cuff trim, the drama! #V&A #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

Don't stop searching for joy.
Track it down if you can.
Look in cluttered bookstores, movie theaters, spooky cemeteries, and mossy forests.
Take joy out for tea, adventure, and gentle mischief across the land.

House Republicans haven't shown up to work in 18 days. But if they do decide to show up—I have a message for them.

3/4s of the families that rely on the expiring health care credits that you refuse to acknowledge live in red states.

Time to show up and do your jobs.
