Here's a link to the collection, if you're interested. There are also some really beautiful necklaces by a Ukrainian jewelry maker made from Russian shrapnel, although the pieces are a bit more expensive, as they're more intricate.

Article 22 is a jewelry company that repurposes Vietnam War shrapnel and battlefield debris. A portion of their profits goes to the Mine Advisory Group, which works to remove landmines still left in Laos (they've removed more than 300k mines!). I like the company's "Shard" necklace collection.

AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone

- tech is now more expensive
- you cannot trust most media of reality anymore
- programs barely function
- energy prices
- literal psychosis
- your voice can be literally stolen for evil
- more spyware

but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

Extraordinary courage from Ahmed al Ahmed, a Muslim, 43-year-old father of two, who bravely risked his life to save his neighbors celebrating Hanukkah.

Praying for his full & speedy recovery.

And so deeply inspired by his example.

Yule goat! Yule goat! Yule goat!🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Another possible remaining Yule tradition is the Yule goat.

Throughout Sweden during the Christmas season, large goats are constructed out of straw.

This tradition might have originated as a tribute to the god Thor, who was said to ride in a chariot pulled by goats.

Yule ≠ Christmas

Yule is one of the oldest winter solstice festivals, with origins among the ancient Norse thousands of years ago.

Although today it’s heavily associated with, and even confused with, Christmas, the celebration existed long before Christianity. 🧵⬇️
