I've been playing City Folk on emu with a fan-made Deluxe patch that, among a whole host of other things, removes grass deterioration which is the whole reason why I've never played too much of City Folk. Today I completed my first fossil at the museum!

can't say too much about it but i know for SURE because i have been told so that i have lost work and opportunities for being hard line anti-AI. this is not a fight we as translators can fight from the inside! we NEED customers to raise the stink about this shit because we literally cannot. PLEASE.
Unfortunately, it's not easy for pros working in manga (translators, letterers, editors) to speak up to the companies that employ them.
Why? Because speaking up will cost them their job.
