The bizarre thing about the screenshot post though is like. If you post slop online you will also get savaged? If you get savaged less it'll purely be because you're just posting undifferentiated nothing that nobody even notices?

Honestly, the rise of LLMs has helped me work through some insecurity about my own writing ability, because I know I can do the one thing Chat GPT can‘t. I can be human, and write from my heart. If it’s crap, it’s still MY crap, and that counts for a lot next to soulless machine generated text.

if theres anything i appreciate from the new Superman movie, its the scene where its revealed all of the online superman ragebait was made by an army of monkeys. i think about that often when i see right wing influencer accounts that are later revealed to be paid-for from outside the US.

i have received, from clients, quickly photoshopped concepts, scenes acted out with action figures, lego sets, stick figures, scenes from movies with a "but xyz different instead", and I could go on. all of these were helpful and they had the average amount of note passes
