His courage gives me hope amidst the horror and darkness. Muslims and Jews are not enemies. Our futures, in the Middle East and beyond, are intrinsically bound.

Since August, he has been asking them to deport him to Costa Rica, yet the Trump admin keeps refusing to do it (and lying about why) because they want to send him to Africa to punish him. Just a reminder that ICE didn't exist until 2002. It's not some longstanding institution that must be maintained. It was created as a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11, and it could be gotten rid of as easily as it was created.
