Imagine if you can—it's getting harder and harder—living in a nation whose leader *isn't* nuttier than a shithouse rat.

In such a place, that leader might wish us well *without* 96 more words of hatred and deceit.

We don't live in that nation.

For a day, let's pretend we do.

WTF is up with the Bluesky Discovery feed?

I’ve been getting a bunch of these MAGA troll/bot accounts for at least a week or so.

Just make it fucking stop.

The problem isn't that we can't talk to each other

The marketplace has heard the ideas

Large supermajorities reject them

Yet our anti-democratic political institutions allow the 20-25% that like those ideas to capture & control all the institutions

The problem is the anti-democratic institutions
CNN has a show with a similar line. That the problem with this country is we just aren’t talking to each other.

It’s the kind of diagnosis that a toddler would land on.

It's been nearly a month and they still haven't released the Epstein files because withholding exculpatory evidence is clearly what you do when you're "innocent."

Immigrants ‘plucked out of line’ at citizenship ceremony at Faneuil Hall “the cradle of liberty”.

If you ever claimed you want immigrants to do it the right way, this should outrage you. On the other hand, If you think this was okay, you need to come to terms with your white nationalist views.

🚨 BREAKING: Trump just pardoned Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar, who was charged with foreign-government bribery.

Corruption has no party for Trump. He always takes care of the crooks.

There is virtually no fed criminal law for wealthy people in America right now. Doesn’t exist. Trump’s DOJ either drops their charges or he pardons them. Anyone can buy their way out of prison for the right price on any charge, with crime victims left shattered with no justice.

Worst Case is also Most Likely Case
Best case: The President of the United States knew about a pedophilia ring and did nothing to stop it.

Medium case: He also used his office to protect the perpetrators.

Worst case: Because he was one of the perpetrators.

Obscene.
Kind of wild that while food assistance was withheld from millions of families, one Trump-supporting billionaire (Ellison) saw his net worth grow more this year than the entire SNAP budget. And the YTD gains of the other four richest men would’ve fully covered salaries for all 2M federal employees.

Excellent summary.
Dick Cheney’s legacy is that he turned 9/11 from a national tragedy into a global disaster. He did so through a mixture of arrogance, stupidity and greed and blighted the last quarter century.

“Flooding the zone.”

Honestly, the strategy is working. No other President would’ve survived even one of these.

But when you commit an impeachable offense every other day, then demolish the East Wing just for funsies, no one can even keep track.
Last week:

-Trump pardoned Binance's founder after a $2B deal with his crypto firm
-Hegseth awards a DoD contract to a Don Jr.-backed firm
-Trump orders his DOJ cronies pay him $230M in "compensation"

We must not become numb to this. https://popular.info/p/3-scandals-in-4-days-that-would-define

Please.

Workers were throwing plastic bags out the upper-story windows of the East Wing two months ago. This has been happening for a *while.*

Also: restricting comments to accounts that YOU follow? 🙄
I'm seeing a lot of "why do you even care about the white house fuck that building lol", and like, the horror people are experiencing about it isn't because they somehow hold it in their heart and love it, the issue that he was able to do this without a plan or authorization in like 72 hours

WTF is even happening here?

This person is being paid—during a government shutdown!—to produce this…whatever the fuck this is?!?
EPA Commissioner Lee Zeldin announces his agency is launching a major investigation into the right-wing conspiracies about chemtrails and weather manipulation to get to the bottom of it.

Stephen King is the first person I’ve seen who responded correctly to this latest atrocity!

Why the FUCK isn’t every talking head on TV, from MSNBC to Fox News, calling for his immediate resignation, or failing that, an immediate impeachment and conviction!?!
Holy shit! That motherfucker TORE DOWN THE WHITE HOUSE!
October 23, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Has anyone thought to ask if the whole “throwing plastic bags out the window” incident from like six weeks ago was related to the demolition of the East Wing?

Not that we’d get a straight answer, but it makes sense that they have been emptying it out before demo’ing it.

Where’d all the stuff go?
October 23, 2025 at 9:40 AM
Oh, I hadn’t even heard that he was calling it that.

“Epstein Ballroom,” really??

I mean it makes sense, given how close they were…but naming the ballroom after a well-known rapist?

I guess it’s not the worst thing he’s done, even just with regards to this fucking ballroom.
Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!

The majority found the regime’s claims to be “a colorable assessment of the facts and law within a ‘range of honest judgment.’”

Wow. I don’t think even a NYT communist could’ve come up with a better euphemism for “a lie.”

This is insane. Linsey Halligan raising the stakes on the definition of “anti-qualified.”
EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.
