Besonders gefährlich: Im Verkaufsgespräch wird einem mitunter erzählt, dass die Mittel auch ernsthafte Krankheiten heilen könnten, andere Patienten hätten Medikamente absetzen können. Die Werbung wird gezielt bei Älteren ausgespielt. Trotzdem passiert wenig, Meta macht jedes Jahr viel Geld damit.

Operiert von Bots werden Beiträge auf Facebook beworben, die immer demselben Muster folgen: Ein Gesundheitsexperte sagt auf Kroatisch, auf Tschechisch, auf Französisch, .. dass ein Nahrungsergänzungsmittel das Leben retten würde.
